JA Stock Market Challenge is a live simulation where students take what they learned in the classroom, through the JA Take Stock in your Future curriculum, and apply it to the real world. JA Areas facilitate fast-paced competitions based on a fictional marketplace. Students can compete in teams or individually, in person or remotely.

ALL OF THE RUSH – NONE OF THE RISK!

Junior Achievement of Angelina County is proud to announce our 6th annual Stock Market Challenge on February 27th at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center where you will experience the thrill of the Wall Street trading floor! We will have a daytime Stock Market Challenge event for junior and senior students, plus an evening event – A Night on Wall Street – for corporate teams.

The JA Stock Market Challenge and JA Take Stock in Your Future program introduces high school students to the fundamentals of stocks, the impact of world events on the stocks, long-term investing and how investors make investing decisions and diversify their portfolios. Students then get to put their learning into practice at the Stock Market Challenge, a hands-on and high-tech immersive simulation. This friendly competition is a high-energy, invaluable learning experience.

Both the JA Take Stock in Your Future curriculum and the JA Stock Market Challenge event are offered at no cost to schools.

A Night on Wall Street Corporate Event is a fun competition and an opportunity for companies to support this mission-minded fundraiser. Participation in events like these are critical for Junior Achievement to raise the funds to continue providing life-changing programs to students in our community. JA bridges the gap between school and the real world. It brings life to the things kids learn in school and makes school relevant to what they are going to do after school is over. This motivates them to learn and become better prepared for the world or work.
